Just Announced! Old Dominion at the Key West Amphitheater on May 5th, 2020

Rams Head Presents announces CMA Award Winning country group, Old Dominion this spring

They spent the summer of 2015 as an opener for Kenny Chesney’s Big Revival Tour before they even had a record deal. Old Dominion’s members also have songwriting credits for artists such as Chesney, Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, and The Band Perry, among others. Unlike many artists, they recorded Meat and Candy almost entirely by themselves. “The only session musicians we brought in were for keyboard and an acoustic guitar player,” said drummer Whit Sellers. “That’s something we’re pretty proud of and want people to know.”

Since breaking onto the country music scene in 2014, Old Dominion — recognized as the Group of the Year at both the 2018 and 2019 ACM Awards and the reigning CMA Vocal Group of the Year — have notched seven No. 1s in country radio, surpassed one billion on-demand streams, singles “No Such Thing As A Broken Heart” and “Written in the Sand” earning Platinum certifications and “Hotel Key” earning a Gold, from their Gold certified sophomore album Happy Endings, and headlining arenas and amphitheaters across the globe on their super-successful “Happy Endings” and current “Make It Sweet” tours.

Proving that they are not your average country band, Old Dominion blends old-fashioned country charm, lyrical wit and rock n’ roll grit into radio-friendly, hook-heavy pop nuggets. The band has emerged as one of the hottest breaking bands in country music, fusing clever lyrics and an infectious sound.

Rams Head is thrilled to welcome Old Dominion to the stunning, Key West Amphitheater this spring for what is sure to be an epic night of live music. With plenty of food vendors, bars, take home items from local artisans and a one in a million view of the Gulf of Mexico – Key West Amphitheater is putting itself on the map with national touring acts!
